The 2nd Board Meeting
The Board of Directors of OASA held their second board meeting, with full attendance, and prepared the team for the official grand opening on 12 Feb 2021. The Chair opened up the proceedings at 11 am, as other observers looked on. Overall, more than 20 persons had joined the festive occasion.
OASA’s vision was articulated again. Three mission statements were presented by an OASA’s Mission Specialist - Mr. Perry Lam, Mr. Hubie Lem, and Prof. Stephen Cheung. OASA believes that Hong Kong can become a space portal by 2030, but only if a series of connected and reinforcing programs and missions can be put in place over the next few years.
The board agrees the membership recruitment process will begin after the Chinese Lunar New Year (CNY) and that the new website shall be ready before the CNY. In the future, there will be a board meeting every quarter, tentatively on the first Saturday of the second month in the quarter.
