  • OASA Summer 2023 Internship

    Starts 1 June. 8 to 12 weeks depending on the scope

    • OASA interns receive meals and local travel stipends.

    • More info will be available by early May 2023.

    • Flexible hours and penalty for tardiness and no-shows.

    • Biweekly feedback and coaching to all interns by mentors and coaches, to help them make transition from study to work and to help them learn how to realise their own talent based on the challenges on hand.

    • All post requires interviews, pre and post-assessments, and dedicated commitment. Graduates of internship will receive an official letter from our coaches. Programme Coach is Dr. Cecilia Leung.

  • MINI SATELLITE SUMMER FIELD INTERNSHIP (CLOSED)

    • Study, understand, research, and interview the key players in the provision of launch vehicles, notably ridesharing services by major players.

    • Map out the engineering requirements for ridesharing service if this is to proceed for Hong Kong.

    • Share and interact closely with the CubeSat engineering and research teams at HKU, PolyU, ASTRI, and HKPC.

    What does the Academy collect and how do we use the data collected?

    The Academy will NOT disclose or transfer personal data collected to outside parties unless such disclosure or transfer is authorised, required or permitted by, or in compliance with, the Ordinance.     We are required by the Ordinance to take all reasonably practicable steps to safeguard the security of personal data held by us. The Academy will strive to protect any personal data held by us against unauthorized access or processing.
    
     
    
    Notwithstanding our obligation to safeguard the security of personal data, we are unable to guarantee complete security of electronic communications through the internet given the open nature of the internet. You will have to assess and accept the relevant risks before sending personal data to us via email or any form of electronic communications.

    We are required by the Ordinance to take all reasonable practicable steps to ensure that personal data held by us (i) is accurate having regard to the purposes for which the data is to be used; and (ii) is not kept longer than is necessary for the fulfilment of the
