Programme Journey

From Real Briefs to Real Outcomes

1. Moonshot Kick-off and Alignment

Sponsors, PMs, students, and mentors align on challenge scope, communication protocols, NDAs, and final demo expectations.

2. Investigation and Reframing

Teams run fieldwork with commercial entities, reframe the moonshot challenge, and develop first-draft business canvas and project plans.

3. Build, Validate, and Iterate

Workshops and tutorials in UX, AI, agile execution, and market sizing support iterative delivery toward sponsor-ready recommendations.

4. Demo Day and Progression

Teams deliver sponsor-facing presentations and complete programme deliverables, opening progression to YMP II, internships, and venture pathways.

Programme Details

Moonshot Masterclass + YMP Execution Structure

Duration and Rhythm

Typical duration is 10-12 weeks from mid-July to late September, with workshops on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays and additional Wednesday tutorial sessions.

Team Composition

Each sponsor moonshot is anchored by a Project Manager and supported by a student team (often 3-5 members) plus at least one global mentor from partner networks.

Learning and Delivery

Core work includes problem reframing, systems thinking, business canvas design, customer and market validation, AI application, and agile project management.

Completion Standards

Participants work toward 10 core deliverables and final sponsor demo outputs, with 80% attendance expected for certification and related programme support.
