Global Mentors

To be a member of OASA means the member is offered an opportunity to give back. Members do this by mentoring others in the area of entrepreneurship, leadership, and community service.

Frame-242-2

Members do not need to have worked in the NewSpace Economy. Your mentees could probably teach the mentors a few things about the new digital world.

This tradition has been set by Sir David Akers-Jones, where he would allocate every Saturday of his life, to mentor aspiring leaders. This was done at his home and many would remember those tasty meals after a long chat on issues from international affairs to community services. Sir David's Timeless Leadership Competency set can be accessed here.

How to join as an OASA Global Mentor?

The purpose of life is to have a purpose, and helping young people find their purpose is one of the most rewarding accomplishments for a mentor. OASA welcomes you to join our global mentoring scheme and we look forward to having you join this family of global mentors.

Please fill out this simple registration form and we shall get you started on your mentoring journey at OASA. Accurate responses will enable us to match you better to a shortlist of candidates. This exercise should take you less than 15 minutes.  For non-members there will be a small administrative fee of HK$ 200 for processing.

 How are mentors compensated?

How are mentors compensated?

Mentors are not compensated in general.  There are special programmes that may involve a limited level of compensation such as fees for coffee and transport. In general, members offer their time in exchange for the chance to build a stronger relationship with future leaders of the city.
