Frame-242-2-1

Every year since our foundation in 2020, a handful of lucky aspiring astropreneurs have been invited to join OASA as interns. The internship lasts from two weeks to eight weeks, depending on the mutual needs of OASA and that of the intern. All interns have assigned mentors and are guided by our Head of Internship, Dr. Cecilia Leung.

During the Summer of 2023 (June - August), nine lucky students (aged 15 to 23) were selected to shadow professionals at OASA and at the Lab for Space Research (LSR) at HKU, and were put to creating something of value.  All had gained a real hands-on experience in delivering quality outputs that were needed by the educational market.  Some worked on product and market feasibility studies.  Others worked on new course development and put together trial versions of NewSpace STEM games and course materials. A few even organised visits to winning start-ups and presentation parties at the LSR.
