OASA's Three Space Missions in Our First Three Years

Mission 1: Building Your CubeSat by 2021

Seeding Tomorrow's Space Innovators and Engineers

Fostering a new generation of astropreneurs and innovators by engaging bright primary and secondary students in CubeSat building and tasking, eventually connecting these mini-satellites to tiny ground stations.  Ultimately, enhancing their understanding of the NewSpace Economy and potentially getting a head start into their next career.

Mission 2: Launching Moonshots with Young Marco Polo’s by 2022

Bringing About the Next Generation of Space Visionaries through Digital Transformation with Real Businesses

Empowering university graduates with UX creativity, real-world problem-solving skills, and communications skills through a 10-week business accelerator programmes. Guided by experienced global troubleshooters, leading businesses would gain invaluable opportunities to test their ideas while earning ESG distinction, to develop their own high flyers towards a digital transformation project, and to select the cream of the crop in young talents for enabling such ideas.

Mission 3: Sending a CubeSat to Orbit and Beaming Data Downstream by 2025

Hong Kong’s first commercial mission to NewSpace

Why can't Hong Kong and Greater Bay be a part of the NewSpace Economy? By forming multi-disciplinary teams we shall train platform and mission specialists who understand the intricacies and connectivity of engineering and business systems. They shall learn to build their own CubeSats, operate radios, launch the CubeSats and place them into orbit over GBA. Perhaps the CubeSat can help better monitor incoming typhoons and reduce the city's overall downtime.
